Dear Parents and Families:
This month we will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair October 16-20!
This year we want to make sure the Book Fair is exciting and meaningful for ALL students regardless of financial situation, so in the spirit of equity, we are trying something new!
● Monday and Tuesday, classes will visit and all students will get a book of their choice for free.
● Wednesday-Friday the Book Fair will be open as usual to purchase books, diaries, school supplies, etc. The profits from Wednesday-Friday will help us cover the cost of providing a book for each student.
● If you are interested in “sponsoring” a book, click here to donate between $1 and $10.
● Our Book Fair offers a cash-free payment option called eWallet. It’s a convenient digital account that your child can use for shopping at our
Fair. Grandparents, friends, and others can contribute, too!
● We are looking for parent volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering, please email Ms. Pearl at monaghanj@sfusd.edu or fill out
