Budding Botanist is a USA-based grant program to inspire our youngest citizens to value the environment and protect their local ecosystems. Thanks to this generous grant, in 2023 Sutro expanded our school garden, where students now learn about plant lifecycles, climate change, indigenous land practices, decomposition, native plants, and adaptation.
